2. INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR FREE ARTISTS

Camel Collective

In 1956 the Danish artist Asger Jorn arranged The First World Congress of Free Artists in Alba, Italy. In an appropriation and performative transformation of Jorn's first congress the international artists, Camel Collective, will arrange The Second World Congress of Free Artists, Aarhus at the Aarhus Art Building. By means of a day-long performance of speeches Camel Collective will use the congress to present the fleeting revolutionary possibilities of everyday life and pedagogy.
