Islands of Problems is a solo exhibition of work by the budding artist Michael Isling, who has earlier participated in both the Artists’ Easter
Exhibition and spring at the Aarhus Art Building. With Islands of Problems he creates visualizations of the economic, technological and mental barriers he believes stand in the way of a sustainable society. In the exhibition Isling turns the focus on among other things man’s exploitation of nature in relation to the use of fossil fuels such as soil, coal and uranium. In the exhibition Isling identifies a number of obstacles on the path towards a sustainable society.
